The Forest Hills Dog Lover's Association is a community-based organization that is comprised of over 50 members who congregate at various parks in Forest Hills.

The majority of members meet at Yellowstone Park located on Yellowstone Blvd and 68th Ave. Most meet-ups occur evenings between 8-9pm and weekends 7:30-9:00am

The 2009 Halloween Gallery is now up. Sorry for the delay.

The Annual Yellowstone Park Halloween contest will be held on Saturday October 31 at 7:30pm. The rain date will be Sunday November 1.

Prizes will be given out for best costumes and there will be snacks for both dogs and owners. Local media has been notified and city council candidate Lynn Schulman will be in attendance.

An updated Halloween gallery will be available shortly after the event.

Our Halloween Gallery is now available for viewing. The Halloween party had tremendous turnout. Many thanks to those who helped set up the event as well as organize the costume contest.

At a recent community board meeting, Beverly Seiger and Tracy Heller presented the FHDLA's  petition for a dog run at Yellowstone Park. It was greeted with much support and enthusiasm. For more info click on our new Dog Run Info Page.






Our Mission

The FHDLA was formed to build an official presence that will bring awareness to the needs of dog owners in the community. Ultimately it is our goal to have a space created where dogs can be off-leash during normal park hours in a safe and recreational environment.
